A stream of visitors came through, and she finally collected her father from the station, a welcome arrival that also visibly refreshed R. That evening the second restaurant opened, and R. made a speech thanking the artists. There was regret too, because so many important people were absent.
Tuesday, August 1:
Visitors of all kinds, and finally fetched my father from the railroad station. He is very well, and R. is decidedly refreshed by his arrival.
