The King’s birthday brought a formal dinner with the district president, but the evening was weighed down by Lusch’s departure back to boarding school. Her leaving felt painful on several levels, and I remained troubled by the girl’s character; I also stayed away from Mimi, who seemed oddly out of place here.

The King’s birthday; dinner with the district president. In the evening departure of Lusch, who is returning to the boarding school, very painful in many ways; the girl’s character worries me. In the evening I do not go to Mimi, who in this place seems very strange to me.
