Diary Entry of November 23, 1869
Cosima and Richard take the clergyman's letter to the lawyer, who dissuades her from visiting the parsonage, to her relief. They look at children's toys and spend the rest of the day in domestic work. Richard and Lulu are somewhat better, the weather is cold and bright, and Gorgias continues in the evening.
Tuesday, November 23:
In the morning with R. to the lawyer with the clergyman's letter; I am dissuaded from going to see him and give up the intention with pleasure.
Afterward looked at children's toys with R. Otherwise children's day. R. and Lulu both somewhat better; fine, cold weather, sun and snow.
