Cosima's Diaries

Diary Entry of December 19, 1869

Overview

Richter writes that Lohengrin will be performed in Brussels in January, while Cosima spends Sunday with the children at lunch and games. She reads Lusch scenes from Goethe's Iphigenie because the child is learning the legends, and Eva's lively intelligence delights her. Tristram Shandy returns in the evening.
